As we approach Christmas, our incredible staff and volunteers are taking to social media to share the moments that have brought us smiles throughout the year.

We’ve created a wishlist of products and services that will enable us to continue spreading happiness in our community. Every contribution helps us create more moments of joy!
For our Engage programme – befriending elderly people in the community – we would appreciate the following:
£10 towards drinks at our monthly drop-in session
£3.40 would cover the cost of stamps for posting out 4 copies of our monthly newsletter
£18 would cover the cost of a care assessment visit.
£30 would cover the cost of refreshments for those attending our monthly drop-in sessions.
For our Rahab programme – our outreach to on-street sex workers in Reading – we would appreciate the following:
£15 for a hat, scarf and gloves set to keep someone warm in the winter
£5 for coffee and cake when meeting with a woman during the day
We also have a specific Amazon wishlist for items for the women. Shop it here
For our Starting Point programme – mentoring young people in the community – we would appreciate the following:
£5 would cover the cost of refreshments at a Hub drop-in session
£7 could cover the cost of drinks at a mentoring session
£7 would cover the cost of new art supplies to be used at the Hub
£25 would cover the cost of the software used in a creative training session for young people for one week.
£10 could cover the cost of a new game for the young people to play at our Hub drop-in.
