Introducing The Parent Hub: A New Community for Parents and Carers

We are delighted to launch The Parent Hub, a new community for parents and carers of young people aged 11-25.

At The Mustard Tree, we understand that parenting young people can be rewarding, challenging, and everything in between. The Parent Hub has been created as a welcoming space where parents and carers can connect, learn, and support one another.

Whether you are looking for practical advice, information, encouragement, or simply the reassurance that you are not alone, The Parent Hub is here for you.

Through The Hub, parents and carers can:

  • Connect with others facing similar experiences
  • Share ideas, insights, and practical support
  • Access helpful information, resources, and webinars
  • Build confidence and resilience in family life
  • Learn from experts and one another

Helping Your Young Person Navigate Post-16 Choices

5th November 2026 7-8pm

For some young people, thinking about life after Year 11 is exciting. For others, it can feel overwhelming. For many, the answer to “What do you want to do next?” is simply… “I don’t know.”

As parents and carers, we want to support our young people to make good decisions and feel confident about their future. But it can be hard to know what to say when they’re unsure of their options, worried about getting it wrong, or don’t know what they want to do next.

Help Shape The Parent Hub

The Parent Hub is a new initiative, and we want it to be shaped by the parents and carers who use it.

We would love to hear your ideas about the topics, resources, and support that would be most helpful to you. Your feedback will help us develop a community that truly reflects the needs of local families.

We look forward to building this community together and supporting parents and carers on their journey.
