Volunteering

We currently have the following volunteering opportunities available at Reading Lifeline:

Volunteer Counsellors

Are you interested in supporting local people following a pregnancy loss? Do you have counselling experience & qualifications? Are you looking for a student counselling placement? Then why not consider becoming a volunteer counsellor with Reading Lifeline?

We are seeking to recruit new counsellors to meet increasing demand for our services. For our volunteer counsellors we offer regular team meetings, and give opportunities for training & Continued Professional Development.

Support Group Volunteers

Are you interested in supporting those who have experienced infertility or loss in pregnancy? You may have a background in healthcare, counselling or other similar support services. Or you may have journeyed through infertility or loss in pregnancy yourself, and be in a place to stand alongside others. Then why not consider becoming a Support Group volunteer?

We are seeking to recruit people to help facilitate or assist with the running of our groups. There are opportunities within both our Baby Loss & Infertility Support Group, and the Rainbow Pregnancy Support Group. We are also looking to start-up a daytime Support Group.

Fundraising Volunteers

Could you organise a fundraising event for Reading Lifeline? Could you help us to write fundraising applications?

We are looking for pro-active volunteers to join our team and help with fundraising. For our fundraising volunteers we would offer some basic fundraising training, as well as a lively, busy office environment to work in.
