You are able to refer yourself to Reading Lifeline for support, by contacting us through one of the methods listed above.
For all new counselling enquiries & referrals we will ask for a few basic details from you, and then will get back in touch as soon as a counselling appointment becomes available. Our average waiting time is around 8-12 weeks, although we will endeavour to see you as soon as possible.
If you are a local healthcare professional and wish to refer a client to Reading Lifeline, then please complete a copy of our referral form below, and email it over to the team.
Counselling appointment timings vary throughout the week, depending on the availability of our volunteer counsellors.
Our office is usually open: Mon 10am-5pm // Tues 9am-1pm // Weds 2:30pm-5pm // Thurs 9am-5pm
Please note that our staff operate on a part-time basis, and all queries will be responded to as soon as possible.
Reading Lifeline is a charity and is reliant on donations in order to keep running. Our services are provided free of charge, but to help cover our costs we encourage clients to consider making a voluntary contribution per session, or a one-off donation at the end, if they are able to.
Whether or not you choose to make a donation, the quality of care and support you receive at Reading Lifeline will be the same. Please do discuss this with us if you have any queries or concerns.
